our e safety presentation to parents

What is it and why do we teach it?
E-safety is about keeping your child safe when they are
using electronic devices.
This can include:
- Tablets (iPads, Kindle, Hudl etc.)
- Smartphones
- Laptops
- Desktops
- X-Box
- Playstation
- Games Consoles
This week in school, we have done the following:
- Assemblies to both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 telling them about
E-safety and giving them information about how to stay safe
- Introduced the new homepage and explained how to use the
“worried button”
- Done work in classes to discuss individual concerns and reminded
them about the relevant information
- Updated the E-Safety policy with the relevant information
- Asked a sample of pupils to fill out an E-Safety questionnaire to
check that they have understood the key messages
