Entrance Fees/Subscriptions
 This is a once off non-refundable fee you pay to join the club.
 Annual Subscription
 Our financial year runs from 1st January to 31st December. Should you join during
the first three months of the year you will be liable for the whole year, from April
the subscriptions will be adjusted to a pro-rata amount.
 Notice of fees due are sent out in October and payable before or by the 1st January.
 Debit order facilities are available – interest is payable on this option.
Reciprocity with other clubs
Glendower has entered into member reciprocity deals with the following clubs:
 Arabella in Hermanus, Cape Town
 King David GC in Montana, Cape Town
 Selborne Country Club in Pennington on the South Coast of Natal
 Omeya Golf Club - Windhoek
Non-golfing/Social Membership
These membership options allow use of all our facilities with the exception of golf or a golf
handicap. If a social member would like to play golf from time to time they will have to
pay visitors green fees.

Member club account
Members can load money onto their club account to receive 15% discount on all food &
beverage purchases made at the club. This encourages cashless convenience at the club
and members can ‘top-up’ whenever they need to.
Prepaid Rounds
Members can purchase an unlimited playing card for the year or various prepaid round
options are available specific to your membership category. This affords members
discounted green fee rates. See information regarding these options on the membership
rate card below.

Membership procedures
Please complete the membership application form in full, ensuring that it is signed and
dated on the back page.
 A schedule of membership categories and fees is attached to enable you to select a
suitable category.
 If you are unable to get ‘proposer and seconder’ signatures from current members
of Glendower, we require a letter of good standing from your current employer or
current golf club.
 Once we have received your application form an invoice will be generated and sent
to your email address.
Please note that although you will be loaded onto the Glendower system your member
status will be placed on hold until payment is received. Once payment has been received
your membership will be activated together with your handicap and you will
be able to make golf bookings. All golf fees will be charged at applicable member rates.
New Members
 All new members will be required to meet the General Manager or and appointed
manager to discuss your membership type and the rules and regulations of the club.
Once a year the club will arrange a cocktail party and invite new members to meet
committee members.
 The club has the right to place your name on the notice board at the club for a
period of 14 days after which you will receive a letter confirming your membership.
