The Apple Valley Parks and Recreation Department will be offering S.O.R.R. sponsored Adult Co-Rec
Kickball Leagues this fall – all leagues will be self-officiated.

Self-officiated Outdoor Co-Rec "B" (recreational) 8 (9 teams) Thursday $175.00/Team 8/17 AV
(NOTE: Leagues may be combined, if necessary.) In addition to 8 league games ALL teams will play
additional games in the Play-offs. ALL teams are eligible for the play-offs.
The Outdoor SELF-OFFICIATED Co-Rec "C" Leagues (very recreational) & will play on Wednesdays.
The Co-Rec “B” Leagues (recreational) will play on Thursdays at the Johnny Cake Ridge Park Fields
(Adult Softball Complex) at 142nd Street West and Johnny Cake Ridge Road in Apple Valley.
All games will be SELF--OFFICIATED!! Tentatively, Leagues will play an 8 game schedule followed
by a Single Elimination Play-off. Games are set to begin the week of August 16th/17th.
Enclosed is the Registration Priority Policy. Please read it over carefully. Also enclosed is a Team
Registration Form and a Team Roster Form. Fill these forms in and be sure to indicate which league you
are registering for. Full payment of the league fee must accompany your registration form in order to
register for any of the S.O.R.R. Kickball Leagues. League rosters are not due until the 1 st night of league
play. (This gives you time to have each participant sign the league roster. League fees will not be refunded
if you choose to withdraw for any reason after the deadline.
*Registration Deadline is 4:30 PM on Thursday, July 20th or until full
Managers must complete a team roster and submit it on the first evening of play (at the Supervisor's Office
at Johnny Cake Ridge Park). Each player must complete their individual information and sign the reverse
side of the roster before they will be permitted to play. This roster is due the first night of league play.
Last year no teams were turned away that met the registration deadline!
Prizes for the winners will include:
League Champions - $30 Gift Certificate and T-shirts
League Runner-Up - $20 Gift Certificate
Play-Off Champions - $25 Gift Certificate

REGISTRATION PRIORITY POLICY
Registrations are defined as completed team registration forms submitted with the full
league entry fees (Visa/MasterCard/Discover, cash, or cashier check, or sponsor check
made payable to the City of Apple Valley) by the deadline of Thursday , July 20th, at
4:30pm (or until full).
Team rosters must include a minimum of eleven players, with a maximum of twenty
players. Rosters must also include appropriate home or work addresses and phone
numbers for each player, in order to determine resident eligibility. Rosters are not due
until the first night of league play.
PRIORITY #1: Returning 2016 Resident teams - can include a maximum of 5
Players who do not live or work full-time in the S.O.R.R. communities
of Apple Valley, Burnsville, Eagan, Farmington, Lakeville, Savage,
and Rosemount.
PRIORITY #2: New Resident Teams
PRIORITY #3: +Returning 2016 Non-Resident teams.
PRIORITY #4: +New Non-Resident Teams (Please note in 2016 ALL teams who
registered by the registration deadline were accepted into the league.)
+ Non-resident teams will always have a lower priority when registering each season,
unless they increase their roster to 51% or more players from the S.O.R.R. communities
of Apple Valley, Burnsville, Eagan, Farmington, Lakeville, Rosemount, and Savage.
The Registration Deadline is 4:30 PM on Thursday, July 20th. All registrations
received after the deadline will be accepted on a first-received basis only, regardless of
priority status.
HOW TO REGISTER:
1. E-MAIL REGISTRATION to Lyndell Frey and call with a credit card # and your team
will be all set. (Most teams register via e-mail and phone in credit card #.
2. In person registration is taken at the Apple Valley Community Center, 14603 Hayes
Road, Apple Valley, MN 55124

REGISTRATION NOTES:
1. Full payment of the league fee of $175.00/team must be submitted along with this
registration form by 4:30 PM by Thursday, July 20th.
2. League entry fees are non-refundable, unless the team is not accepted into a
League. Teams not accepted into the leagues will be notified after the deadline,
and their entry fee will be fully refunded.
