Heartland Harvest 5K Team Captain FAQ’s
Thank you for your interest in being a
team captain for Heartland Community
College Foundation’s Heartland Harvest
5K Run / 1K Walk.
What is a team captain?
Team captains are volunteers who recruit friends, family and co-workers to form a team and
participate in the Heartland Harvest 5K. As a team captain, your goal is register at least 9
people. Registration is $25 per person. Team captains will receive a FREE registration as an
expression of our gratitude.
Does everyone on my team have to participate in the run?
No. Individuals on your team may choose to run or walk.
How do I register my team?
Team registrations will be accepted by mail or in person at Heartland Community College,
Community Commons Building, Suite 2300. Team captains are responsible for gathering
individual payment and registration forms to be submitted together at one time. Incomplete
team registrations will not be accepted.
When do I have to have my team filled?
Team registrations will be accepted until October 14th. However, in order for your team to be
guaranteed performance race shirts, all payments and registrations need to be submitted by
September 23, 2016.
