Diamond is a worldwide leader in supplying high precision fiber optic solutions based on different
technologies for markets such as: Photonics, Laser, Industry, Telecom, Defence, Medical, aerospace,
etc. For applications such as high power laser injection/output, Diamond has developed unique
technologies based on the expanded beam, with the aim of reducing the power density at the optical
interfaces. The Expanded Beam technology is applicable to most connector interfaces, but to
enhance safety, Diamond suggest the E-2000™ and F-3000™ connectors featuring a spring loaded
protection cap and adapters with metal protection shutters. For high power applications where
safety is an increasing requirement, Diamond offers also solutions such as the E-2000 Interlock
connector suitable for remote control, or the F-SMA PSi (SMA 905) for beam delivery of medium-high
power Diode Lasers. For other applications (non-telecom) using Singlemode small core fibers and PM
fibers, Diamond offers the VIS/NIR optical interfaces that can be applied on almost all connector
types. Aiming to achieve the best optical performances, Diamond utilises its unique and patented
Active Core Alignment (ACA) technology, which minimises the lateral offset of the fiber core enabling
unrivaled low Insertion Loss values. Additionally, Diamond utilizes the same technology in the Power
