LOCAL East Lothian Council Draft Tenant Consultation Strategy 2016 East Lothian Council’s Draft Tenant Consultation Strategy 2016 is currently being reviewed. The draft has been put together by our TP Strategy Group which consists of staff and tenant representatives and we would really like to hear your views on it. The Strategy is usually have a 3 year strategy however we are asking for views on this and would like to know if you think it should cover a longer period of say 4 or 5 years. Please be aware that we are only consulting on the text and the final document will be professionally designed so will look different from this current version. We would really like to hear your comments and would appreciate it if you could give us your feedback, any responses can be emailed to myself by Friday 4th March 2016. At the end of the consultation period the TP Strategy Group will consider the responses and agree any changes to the draft. Thank you for taking the time to get involved. The most important part of these Awards is that they shine a light on the positive contributions young people make every day – whether that is through volunteering, fundraising, going the extra mile to help others, overcoming huge obstacles or stepping up to tackle injustice. We are already busy planning for the 2016 Awards which will take place at the EICC on the 27th April. Nominations have opened and we have had an overwhelming response so far, again highlighting the amazing contribution that young people are making in their communities. Nominations close on the 24th February and we need your help for the final push. We would love you to nominate young people in your area for an Award to ensure that as many incredible young people from your community are nominated. We would also be delighted if you could encourage nominations by telling people about the Awards, directing them to the dedicated Young Scot Awards website where they can find a full list of categories and nomination forms and by joining the conversation on social media by using #YSAwards16.
