TENDER NOTICE
# NTC (Proc-Dte)/ADV-22/10-11
Hiring of Consultancy Services for Data Center Project of NTC
National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) intends to hire consultancy
services (from firms, not individuals) for its Data Center project. Sealed bids are invited
from interested firms, national or international, meeting the following minimum
eligibility criteria:
1.
The firm must be registered with relevant (registration, tax etc)
authorities in its country of origin for at least two (02) years, and the
firm must have at least 02 years experience in ICT domain.
2.
Consultant must be a single firm and JV/consortia/partnerships are not
allowed.
3.
The firm must have delivered at least two (02) of Data Center projects
successfully, either in the role of prime contractor or prime consultant.
Preference shall be given to the firms whose delivered project(s) have
been certified on TIA-942 Standard.
4.
Preference shall be given to the firms affiliated with Data Center
certifying authority (Uptime, EPI etc).
5.
The firm must not be involved in any sort of litigation or legal dispute.
6.
The firm must provide all the documentary evidence as required by NTC.
7.
The firm must have at least three (03) resources with relevant
experience in Data Center domain. The resources must be direct
employee of the company for at least one (01) year. Preference shall be
given to firms having Data Center certified resources.
8.
The firm must have at least two (02) resources who have successfully
delivered Data Center project(s) in the capacity of Project Manager or
similar leading role. The resources must be direct employee of the
company for at least one (01) year.
9.
The firm must be financially sound and be profitable for at least two (02)
years.
10.
The firm must ensure full-time onsite presence during the tenure of the
consultancy services project.
11.
The proposal must be on fixed-cost basis and in PKR.
Other details are available in the tender document. The bid must be complete as per
required format and must be supported with evidences/certificates. Firms not fulfilling
any sub-clause of qualification criteria, or incomplete/ false bids may be disqualified

Interested consultant firms are required to collect the tender document from the office
of the Director (Procurement) or by sending a written request for dispatch through mail
at the address mentioned below. The tender document can be obtained from December
10, 2010 onward during office hours by depositing a non-refundable fee of Rs. 20,000/=
only (Twenty thousand rupees) as cost of the tender document. The last date for
submission of response is December 31, 2010.
NTC reserves the right to reject any response(s) without assigning any reason thereof.
NTC will not be liable to any expense, direct, indirect, or contingent in connection with
the preparation or submission of the response.
