BEST OF NAIOP Nomination Information and Application Thank you for your interest in participating in the Best of NAIOP Awards program. Please read the enclosed information carefully as new guidelines have been adopted for the 2010 competition. Failure to comply with the instructions will result in an entry being judged adversely. DATES and DEADLINES: Wednesday, February 9th, 2011 Complete submission packages, including nomination forms, photographs and fees must be received by 12:00 pm at the NAIOP office: 1702 E. Highland Avenue, Suite 401, Phoenix, AZ 85016. Thursday, March 31st, 2011 Awards will be presented at the Phoenician. Seats can be purchased though NAIOP at [email protected]. There will be further information and pricing to follow. SUBMISSION REQUIRMENTS: Form: Two (2) Nominations must be submitted on plain white, 8½ x 11" paper in a pocket folder without extraneous packaging (no ring binders, please). All questions must be answered in 100 words or less. Anything over word 101 will be blacked out. For Building/Project categories, one 8½ x 11" copy of the site plan and one copy of the floor plan must be submitted. In addition to the application form and the photographs described below, a one-page marketing piece on the company nominated or who employs the individual nominated, may be included in the submission package. Photographs: Must be submitted on a labeled CD and printed in the packages. Photos must be in JPG format, and at least 300 dpi. The photos are limited to the following: Individual and Company Categories – One Photograph One digital photograph of the person who will accept the award labeled with the person’s name and the category in which he/she is nominated. The individual accepting the award must be a NAIOP member. Building/Project Categories – Three Photographs Two photographs of the building/project: one of the exterior; one of the interior (no compilation photos). The CD must be labeled with name of the building/project and the category in which it is nominated. Along with one digital photograph of the person who will accept the award labeled with the person’s name and the category. Fees: One entry fee is $400.00. Two entries are $700. Three entries are $975. Four entries or more entries are $1,200. Payment must be included in the submission and can be made by check or credit card. JUDGING: Judging will be based exclusively on performance during the period 1/1/10 to 12/31/10 which occurred in the State of Arizona unless otherwise noted. Judging will be done by a group of industry-related professionals from the Phoenix Metropolitan area. In the event there are insufficient entries to create competition in a given category, categories may be consolidated for judging purposes. In the event there is only one entry in any given category that category may be eliminated. Refund would be given. Specific development accomplishments between 1/1/10 and 12/31/10 with respect to design, responsiveness to market/tenant requirements and service to tenants. The building must have been designed and built for a single tenant.
