Thursday, July 20th—2017 The Michigan State Women's Soccer Elite Prospect Academy offers the fem ale soccer player an opportunity to spend the day with the Spartan Women's Soccer Program. This unique clinic includes technical and tactical training, matches and presentations all directed by the MSU coaching staff, as well as current and former players. Each Academy session is designed to provide insight into college soccer and Michigan State. In addition to the training and match play at DeMartin Soccer Stadium, the home of Michigan State Soccer, players will have lunch with current MSU team members, attend a presentation by the Spartan Strength and Conditioning staff, and have the opportunity to learn from our head Student-Athlete Nutritionist at Michigan State. Lead the Spartans to the 1994 Big Ten regular season championship. Lead MSU to four NCAA College Cup appearances in 2002, 2005, 2008, 2009. Named Big Ten Coach of the Year in 1994 and 2000. Former State and Regional ODP Staff Coach. Former College player and captain at Michigan State. Holds US Soccer national coaching license. Associate Head Coach—Tammy Farnum Entering her 20th season on the Michigan State staff. Promoted to Associate Head Coach in 2005 after serving 9 years as assistant coach. Helped guide the Spartans to four NCAA College Cup appearances. Former Head Women’s Soccer coach and Women’s Athletic Director at Alma College from 1994-97. Current ODP Girl’s Advanced Academy Director Lead 7 ODP teams to National Championships in 18 years on the MSYSA ODP Staff. Former college player and captain at Michigan State. Holds US Soccer national coaching license. Assistant Coach—Stacy DeLonge Entering her 13th season on the Michigan State staff. Helped guide the Spartans to three NCAA College Cup appearances. Played in the Spartans first ever NCAA College Cup. MSYSA ODP Staff coach from 2005-present. Cap City Athletic staff coach and goalkeeper director. Current US Training Center Staff Coach Holds a USSF “C” and National Youth license. Former All Big Ten goalkeeper & Academic All-American at Michigan State. STAFF: Coach Instruction from MSU staff along with current and former members of the MSU Soccer Team.
