Making Fun of Italian Grammar:
Playing with Verbs
This workshop is aimed at consolidating basic Italian grammatical structures, particularly in
relation to the form and use of irregular and reflexive verbs in the present tense. The session
will provide opportunities for students to practice and reinforce their grammar skills and
clarify their understanding in relation to further grammatical elements, such as nouns,
adjectives, prepositions and pronouns.
The workshop is conducted in Italian and there will be extensive time for Q&A.
Who will be the facilitator?
Paolo Nelli has been teaching Italian and Italian Contemporary Culture courses for more
than 10 years in various Higher Education Institutions in London. He has been a lecturer in
Italian with the King’s College Modern Language Centre since 2009.
Who will be the facilitator?
All students in a Stage 1 Assessed Module Italian course or Beginners’ Italian Evening
Course.
When and where will the workshop take place?
Friday 12 February 11:00 – 12:30 in the Language Resource Centre (LRC), Strand
Campus, 1st Basement, room K-1.072.
