DAILY ITINERARY
July 22 <> Home to Sacramento airport to New York City
Transfer to your local airport for your flight to New York City. Upon arrival transfer to the
Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel for 3-nights. Evening of leisure time in the Big Apple. Just within blocks of our hotel
you'll find the Grand Central Terminal, United Nations headquarters, Rockefeller Center, Empire State Building & Fifth Avenue.
July 23 <> New York City and Yankee Stadium.
Today is the day for baseball, the Baltimore Orioles vs. New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium. It is a relatively young ballpark,
having debuted only in 2009. Its predecessor, the 1923 House that Ruth Built, stood just across 161st Street, and is now a
public playground where neighborhood kids can – literally – play ball on the hallowed ground trod by the Babe, the Iron
Horse, the Mick, and so many other legends of the game.
July 24 <> New York City, City Tour.
Yankee Stadium Tour and Citi Field Friday kicks off with a city tour of the Big Apple. Then revisit Yankee Stadium, this time for a
behind the scenes Stadium Tour: Visit Monument Park, New York Yankees Museum, the Clubhouse/Batting Cage Area, the
Dugout and more. Then it's time for National League action as the Los Angeles Dodgers visit the New York Mets at Citi Field.
July 25 <> New York City to Cooperstown
Depart this morning by deluxe motor coach for historic Cooperstown and the National Baseball Hall of Fame Museum. Spend
the day enjoying the Museum and immerse yourself in the history of the sport. Family friendly programming at Doubleday
Field will feature Hall of Fame members in interactive sessions and discussions throughout the morning and early afternoon, as
a prelude to the Saturday afternoon Awards Presentation. The Hall of Fame Awards Presentation will salute the winners of the
Ford C. Frick Award for baseball broadcasting excellence and the J.G. Taylor Spink Award for meritorious contributions to
baseball journalism, with the presentation of the awards and speeches from the awardees at Doubleday Field. The Awards
Presentation will lead into the Saturday evening Parade of Legends, featuring Hall of Fame members in a parade, which concludes at the front steps of the museum for a Red Carpet Arrival Ceremony. More than fifty Hall of Fame members make the
annual trip to Cooperstown to be part of this special weekend. In the evening we depart for our host hotel for two nights,
where you’ll get a good night’s sleep, because tomorrow you will witness history in the making! Albany Marriott
July 26 <> Cooperstown and Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
This morning enjoy Cooperstown. You can peruse the many shops and attractions in the Village of Cooperstown or spend a
few more hours amidst the treasures in the Hall. While downtown you might visit the Cooperstown Bat Company to see how
bats are made. In the afternoon the highlight takes place – The National Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. The
Ceremony welcomes the Class of 2014 to Cooperstown. The Induction Ceremony lasts approximately 2-3 hours.
(Breakfast & Light Box Dinner)
July 27 <> Albany to Boston and Fenway Park
It’s on to Beantown and historic Fenway Park. The group will enjoy a walking tour of the ballpark, guided by an official Fenway
Park Tour Guide. After our tour, you’ll enjoy lunch on your own with many great restaurants to choose from around the park.
In the afternoon you’ll check-in to our Boston hotel to freshen up prior to the night game between the Chicago White Sox and
Boston Red Sox. Embassy Suites Boston (Breakfast)
July 28 <> Boston to Sacramento and Home
Morning at leisure before departing for the airport. If time permits, hop on the “T” and ride into old Boston where you can
walk to such sacred spots as the sites of the original Tea Party and the Boston Massacre, the Old State House, Paul Revere's
home, the Old North Church, Old Ironsides, Bunker Hill... and other fascinating points along the Freedom Trail. For another
respite, Quincy Market offers a vast selection of food, shopping, street performers, and people watching. (Breakfast)
