EXCLUSIVE EVENTS AT THE OWL BAR
Spirits Welcomed! The Owl Bar is an historic and
treasured landmark within the Belvedere and
offers several options for private dining events.
For parties over 30 an exclusive rental is
required. If your party is fewer than 30 you
may consider a non-exclusive large party
reservation.
CAPACITY
The Owl Bar accommodates cocktail receptions
of up to 110 guests. Seated dinners can
accommodate up to 96 guests. Parties of thirty
(30) or more require an exclusive, private event.
MENUS
The Owl Bar offers options for seated meals, cocktail parties, and stationed receptions. Menu
prices vary depending on the dishes selected; if you have a budget per guest, please let us
know so we can better guide your menu choices.
We will work closely with you to prepare a menu that will suit your occasion and please your
guests’ tastes. The final menu selection must be made at least ten (10) business days before
your event. Please notify us of any allergies or dietary restrictions so we may offer alternative
dishes or menu items for your guests’ individual needs.
BEVERAGES
A custom bar selections may be arranged to complement your event. All beverages are billed
on consumption. All alcoholic beverages are billed on consumption with 9% alcohol tax and
22% service, and. Non-alcoholic beverages are billed by consumption with a 6% tax and 22%
service.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE MINIMUMS
All exclusive events command a private event and food and beverage minimum that will be
arranged at the time of booking. The minimum is based on the season, day, and time of your
event. The food and beverage minimum does not decrease if the expected attendance is not
reached. If your custom menu does not meet the food and beverage minimum, the difference
will be due on the consumption bar. The minimum does not include service (22%), MD sales
tax (6%), and alcoholic beverage tax (9%), or miscellaneous charges. Menu pricing is nonnegotiable.

MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT
All music must be approved by the Owl Bar. Your Event Specialist is happy to make
recommendations or discuss the options available to you.
SERVICE CHARGE AND TAX
A 22% service charge and applicable taxes will be applied to the bill. Alcoholic beverages are
billed with 9% tax and non-alcoholic beverages and food with 6% tax.
PAYMENT
A deposit of your food and beverage minimum or $3,500, whichever is less, is required with
signed contract and credit card authorization to finalize your event. At least 10 business days
before your event final menu selections and guest count are due, from which a final invoice
will be generated. The final invoice balance is due 10 business days before the event. The
consumption bar total is due immediately at the conclusion of the event.
BOOKING AN EXCLUSIVE EVENT
A guest may inquire about availability of the Owl Bar by emailing
[email protected]. Once the date has been confirmed, an Exclusive Event
Agreement form must be signed and returned to the Owl Bar via email, fax or mail along with
initial deposit payment and credit card authorization.
