Terminal Services
The Terminal Services gives the internal users
access to their Siemens desktop. For the
external users the access to outlook, SAP or
project specific applications can be activated via
Terminal Services.
Into the tab „Terminal Services“ you can login
with your Windows account and password. In the
window „Applications“ you see the icons for
access to your desktop and Outlook.
Access from private PC
If there is no ICA-Client installed on your
computer, a red warning appears providing a link
to download the software. We recommend for
performance reasons the use of the ICA-Client. If
it is not possible for you to install the ICA-Client
you can set the use of „Java-Client“ under “Client
Preferences” using the icon:
Change settings
It is not necessary to change the settings.
After your log in you can change features such as
window size, connection speed or language
using the icon:

Tab „Home“
Here you can find help for working with channels, current
news, as well as maintenance schedule, “Siemens News”,
SCD etc…
Tab „Applications“
Via the tab „Applications“ Intranet applications like BPC File
Exchange, RMT, SAP, cFolders, SAP Passwort Management,
etc. are at your disposal.

Logout
Please use only the “Start”-”Logout” button or the
desktop icon “Quick Log Off” to finish the terminal
server session since otherwise the session will
not be terminated correctly.

BPC File Exchange

PKI-Login with Siemens-PKI (Intranet)
Insert your card to the reader.
Choose the Icon “PKI-Login” on the login page.
You are asked to enter your PIN.
After clicking the “OK” button you enter the ProjektPortal
user interface.
SMS-Login
via OWA (Outlook Web Access)
OWA provides you with a simple and fast way to
access your emails via internet.
In the tab “E-Mail (OWA)” you find the application
OWA. On your first visit you are asked to enter your
username and password.
SecurID-Login (Token)
UserID:
personal prefix + 8- or 9-digit No. on the
reverse side of the token
In the tab “Applications” you find the application
BPC File Exchange. Click on the Icon to start BPC
File Exchange.
User Settings:
E-mail Address: ww009\
Please deposit your personal PIN once a time in the
Portal-profile before using the SMS-Login. You may do
this via a cklick on your name (right on the top in the
ProjektPortal). On the same place you may deposit your
mobile-number, in case this number is not already
registered in the SCD.
Access: After filling in your e-mail-address or GID, a
current TAN will be sent to your mobile phone. For
getting access to ProjektPortal please fill in your
personal PIN + the TAN.
If your project is activated for BPC File Exchange
(Business Partner Collaboration File Exchange),
you have access to your project files.
Exchange/Windows Password:
With OWA you have only limited access to the Outlook
functionality.
A full functional Outlook is available via terminal
services.
connect your BPC File Exchange as a web
folder
You have the possibility to connect the BPC File
Exchange as a web folder to your Windows
Explorer. For doing this please read the
documentation “Data Exchange User Guide” on
the starting page of the ProjektPortal.
Note:
via terminal services
Via the tab “Terminal Services” you can login with
your Windows account and password.
User Settings:
Domain Name/Username
(for example): ww009\e09user0
Windows Password: ……….
Passcode: personal PIN + 6-digit No. on the display
of the token
In the field “Applications” aside your desktop your
outlook is available.
After clicking on the “Anmelden” button you enter the
ProjektPortal user interface.
Please also pay attention to the notes to the Terminal
Server (see back side of the leaflet).
Please make sure not to use some special
characters in names for files and folders when
working with BPC File Exchange.
These special characters are listed in the „Data
Exchange User Guide“ on the starting page of the
ProjektPortal.
