SHOW & SHINE COMPETITION
The Show and Shine Competition (which includes a “Rust and Prime” class) is held on Sunday - please see the
programme for details of the times - and is a self-judged contest with every entrant able to Vote for the “Best” and
“Runner-up” in each class. Entry is free but is limited to a maximum of 150 vehicles.
Up to 75 vehicles may be entered on line during August; a minimum of 75 and maximum of 100 entry forms
(dependent on number of on-line entries) will be available from the Information Centre at BUSFEST.
The Show & Shine Competition is held on the SUNDAY in the SHOW & SHINE Arena
You should confirm your entry & receive final instructions @ BUSFEST.
You should proceed to the entry point at the new SHOW & SHINE arena for 09.00 (if possible) on the Sunday.
A self judging system is used for the Show & Shine & you should complete & return Judging form to the Show & Shine
Manager as soon as possible.
Any winning participants will be notified with a rosette on the vehicle window screen
Results & prizes will be given @ the BUSFEST closing Ceremony in the Severn Hall @ approx 16.00hrs.

BUSFEST - SHOW & SHINE RULES
• Entry forms and vehicle passes are available on line (during August) or from the Information Centre at BUSFEST.
• When all entry forms have been distributed the Show and Shine will be closed to further entrants.
• Vehicles may be entered into one class only (all vehicles are considered for “Best Interior” ,“Best Accessory” , “Best
in Show” , and “Mystery Judge's Choice”)
• Completed entry forms received from the Information Centre should be given to the competitions manager on
arrival in the arena.
• A judging form will be given to each entrant on arrival of the vehicle in the arena. • Entrants should assemble their
vehicles in the Show and Shine arena, where they will be grouped by class, during the 2 hours prior to the judging
period.
• Vehicles must be presented for judging in a road-worthy and road-legal condition as required in their country of
current registration.
• Vehicles must be displaying a legal number plate (front & rear)
• Each entrant may vote for "best" and "runner-up" in each class and for “Best Interior”, “Best Accessory”, and “Best
in Show”.
• The judging form should be completed and returned to the Show and Shine
• Managers before the end of the judging period.
• Entrants should display a "Show and Shine" vehicle movement pass in their vehicles windscreen.
• Any vehicle bearing a 'for sale' sign must also display a BUSFEST "Vehicle Sales" sticker (available from the Vehicle
Sales Area).
• Classes with a low number of entries may, at the discretion of the Show and Shine Managers, be combined.
• Results will be announced and prizes presented during the BUSFEST closing ceremony.
• The decision of the competition’s managers / judges / BUSFEST organisers is final.
