Sy’s Fund is here to give young
adults struggling with cancer
something to help them through the
everyday challenges of their illness.
We provide gifts that have nothing
to do with cancer and offer some
light in a time fraught with
uncertainty.
Young adults are often left behind
when it comes to extra assistance to
help them through cancer, despite
the fact that more than 72,000
young adults are diagnosed with
cancer each year in the US.

Jameka age 28 is fighting a
brain stem tumor.She is a single mom and an
author of two books. She is in the process of
writing a book to help kids understand cancer.
Jameka received an IPAD from Sy's Fund.

Angela age 39 has metastatic
breast cancer. She received a good digital SLR
camera from Sy's Fund in.Angela is involved in
many cancer charities, either directly, or by
making cards with pictures taken with her
camera.
