Her research interests and activities in the areas of diversity, multiculturalism and inclusion
have included her doctoral research on diversity practitioners entitled “Diversity Trainers:
Personal Profiles, Paradigms and Practices;” numerous articles in which her work as a
diversity practitioner has been featured; designing and delivering hundreds of diversity
related programming in academic, profit, not-for-profit, community and volunteer settings;
and conceptualizing, developing and facilitating a diversity model, “Kaleidoscope Diversity
Identity Model,” which has been delivered to over 1,000 participants and students in a variety
of educational and professional development settings.
She is the founder and director of InterACTion, an improvisational theater troupe which is
composed of diverse actors/facilitators with extensive backgrounds in organizational
development and training, human services program design/coordination and qualitative and
quantitative research in the fields of cultural and medical anthropology. Performing before
thousands, the troupe has received national recognition. InterACTion's clients have included
educational institutions, businesses, government agencies and professional associations.
