Let’s Play in the Park New for 2014! Let’s Play in the Park is a free, safe and supervised nine week outdoor playground summer program. This no registration required program will be offered at 12 local playgrounds across Mississauga. Children 612 years of age along with their parents, grandparents and caregivers can drop by and our trained summer park leaders will guide active play through physical activities, crafts, drama, and games. With only 5% of children meeting the Canadian Physical Activity Guidelines of 60 minutes of physical activity every day, play might be one of the easiest, most affordable and fun ways for our children to get moving. The City of Mississauga is committed to supporting the benefits of play through a free, no registration playground program for healthier and happier children, parents and caregivers.
