Focus Group 3 – Excellence schemes

EUA invites experts from higher education institutions across Europe who have experience with
excellence schemes to participate in a focus group on this topic. The purpose of the focus group is to
determine good practice, challenges and pitfalls as well as the impact of excellence schemes on the
management and the activities of higher education institutions both of institutions that were
successful in obtaining funding from an excellence scheme as well as those that were not successful.
Application and selection




Applicants are kindly requested to complete the following form and send it back as soon as
possible and at the latest by 31 March 2014 to [email protected]
Participants will be selected on the basis of their answers and the selection panel will ensure
as far as possible a geographical balance as well as the diversity of institutional profiles and
experiences. Applicants will be informed about the outcome of the selection process one
week after the application deadline.
Selected participants will be invited to attend the focus group and be asked to confirm their
participation in April 2014.
Travel and subsistence costs of the selected applicants will be covered by the project budget
according to the modalities communicated by the project team.

The answer should not exceed one page.

Should you also have expertise in one of the topics of the other focus groups and wish to
participate in case you do not get selected for your first choice, please tick the respective box
below. Please note that in this case you should send your application well in advance, so that your
second choice can be taken into account in the given schedule of events.
