The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Product Manager to help us launch our most innovative solution to date: ARGUS on
Demand. This SaaS solution will deliver our market-leading application suite to users online, and is an
important first step in our evolving cloud strategy.
As Product Manager, your goal will be to bring this product to life and to market. You will strategize,
plan, and execute all aspects of the ARGUS on Demand business, including building the business case,
product roadmap, value proposition, key messages, core marketing content, and sales support tools for
this new solution. Using your deep marketing expertise and leadership experience, you will work to
increase market share and achieve aggressive revenue targets for ARGUS on Demand in the North
American and European Markets.
The Role

Communicate with existing and prospective customers to understand their business issues in
detail. Build the product strategy and roadmap, and partner with the Product Development
team to build the solution tailor-made for current and developing customer needs.

Present the product business plan, target market analysis, competitive analysis, and positioning
strategy to the Product Management Committee, and gain full buy-in. Paint a clear and
compelling picture of where the solution roadmap and the go-to-market plan.

Work as the evangelist for ARGUS on Demand, constantly championing the product and
explaining the visions and benefits of the product to both current/prospective customers and
internal stakeholders.

Conduct market research supported by ongoing customer visits. Establish and grow channels of
communication and feedback from your target market including but not limited to: market
surveys, user study workshops, user groups, market research, client visits and interviews, sales
win/loss analysis.

Drive execution of the product strategy to achieve the P&L targets.

Identify sales opportunities to achieve the desired revenue goals set for the identified markets.
Profile for Success

Extensive knowledge and expertise in the cloud service and SaaS delivery models, particularly
remote access technologies such as terminal services or Citrix.

Excellent business acumen, with the ability to understand how business processes can be
improved by technology. Vision and drive to bring this new product to life and to market.

Marketing expertise to enable you to create a compelling and emotional story to properly
position and sell the product to the target market.

Ability to impact and influence, sell ideas, and think creatively, demonstrated in the
development and execution of similar strategies in high growth organizations, preferably
technology. Significant experience influencing and gaining commitment from senior executives
as a trusted advisor.

Experience serving as the interface between product development, sales and marketing, and the
executive leadership team, including the Product Management Committee.

Strong grasp of business operations and financial realities. Previous experience reporting on P&L
responsibilities, creating and managing budgets and metrics aligned to strategic goals of the
organization, and measuring performance against key deliverables year over year.

Analytical skills, with the ability to forecast and interpret trends and data to support informed,
evidence-based business strategies.

Willingness to travel to current and potential customer locations throughout North America and
Europe (up to 25%) to understand changing needs, and to pursue business development
opportunities.
