 Bell Ringer
 IRP Summative Submission
 Snowball Writing Activity: Holiday Edition
 Staple your IRP summatives together and place them in the drop box.
 If you wrote the added scene:
 Staple the added scene on top.
 Then, the summary leading up to that scene.
 Then, the written explanation as to why you chose to add the scene.
 If you rewrote the ending:
 Staple the new ending on top.
 Then, the copied pages of the actual ending.
 Then, your written explanation as to why you changed it.
 Have a seat, and take out a sheet of paper and something to write with.
 Take out a sheet of paper and write your name at the top.
 Fold your paper into thirds, vertically
 I’m going put up 3 pictures on the next slide, you are to choose one and begin
writing a story about it in the top third of your paper.
 When I call time (roughly 3-4 minutes), you are to crumple your paper up into a
ball, and throw it across the room to someone else.
 Pick up one of the “snow balls”, and double-check to make sure that it isn’t yours.
 Now, in the middle third of the paper, continue the story and create a climax.
 Again you’ll have 3-4 minutes to do so.
 When I call time, ball up the paper again, and toss back to the other side of the
room.
 Pick up a “snowball” and check to make sure that, again, it isn’t a paper you’ve
written on before.
 Finally, on the bottom third of the paper finish the story; write in a resolution.
