2014 marks the fifth year of the Platinum Innovation Awards. PGI USA challenges all designers to create one new platinum jewelry piece
inspired by the traditional 5-year anniversary gift of wood. Get in tune with nature, and incorporate this theme into your uniq ue platinum piece.

This contest is only open to those exhibiting at the 2014 JCK Las Vegas and Luxury shows.
WHERE:
All 2014 JCK Las Vegas and Luxury Show exhibitors wishing to take part in the JCK 2014 Platinum Innovation Awards, must participate
in two judging rounds. Details below. The scores from each round will be combined to determine the overall contest winners.

More than 40 editors from leading consumer, bridal and trade publications will vote for their favorite pieces at the
Editor’s Choice judging on May 6, 2014 at a chic New York City venue.
In order to enter the competition, product must arrive at PGI-USA’s NYC office by Thursday, April 25th and a PGI USA staff member
will be in touch to facilitate a return by Friday, May 9th.

The pieces will be insured as soon as they arrive at the PGI office. A PGI-USA staff member will coordinate the return of your pieces.
Your products must arrive at the PGI-USA offices by Thursday, April 25th to be eligible for all the Platinum Innovation Awards.

On Thursday, May 29 all participants will be presented with customized in-case signage (3” x 4.5”) denoting each submitted
piece as a JCK 2014 Platinum Innovation Awards nominee. Signs must be placed next to each nominated piece. Retailers will
vote for your piece by texting their vote to the competition’s hotline.
PLEASE NOTE: Your in-case signage must be displayed prominently throughout the entire JCK show to allow for retailer voting.
If your signage is not prominently displayed, you will automatically be disqualified from the competition.

Complete the official submission form located through the link below or on PlatinumGuild.com. Images, renderings or sketches
are required to enter. You may only submit one piece per category. Once PGI confirms receipt of your submission form, your
piece will be automatically designated as JCK 2014 Platinum Innovation Awards nominees.
Incomplete forms and submissions will not be accepted. All product displayed at both rounds of events must be platinum,
and stamped PLAT, PT950 or PT900.
COST: There is no participation fee. PGI-USA and JCK Las Vegas are offering this opportunity to JCK and Luxury exhibitors to
acknowledge and recognize great platinum designs and to help connect manufacturers with top retailers.
Winners will be announced by PGI’s Prize Patrol at their booths on Sunday, June 1.

Q: I am not exhibiting at the JCK Las Vegas or Luxury Show. May I still participate in the contest?
A: No, this contest is only open to JCK Las Vegas and Luxury Show exhibitors.
Q: May I submit designs that are made of other metals or pieces from my alloy line?
A: No, the pieces must be platinum, and they must be stamped PLAT, PT950 or PT900.
Q: When will I receive my in-case signage?
A: PGI will distribute your in-case signage to your JCK or Luxury booth on Thursday, May 29.
A brand representative must be at your booth between 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. to accept the signage.
Q: Do my pieces need to contain live diamond center stones?
A: No, you may submit pieces with CZ center stones.
Q: May I enter more than one piece into a category?
A: No, you may only enter one piece per category.
Q: How will I know that I’ve won?
A: A Prize Patrol will surprise category winners at their booths on Sunday, June 1 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Q: Do I have to participate in both judging rounds?
