2015 UIL Soccer Playoff Information
Certification of District Representatives: The last date for certifying the district champions to
the League office for all conferences (4A, 5A, 6A) is March 24. The District Chair will certify
representatives.
Updating Scores: The WINNING TEAM is REQUIRED to report immediately following your
game by going online and reporting on the MaxPreps website following ALL rounds of the
playoffs. Coaches are required to submit playoff results immediately following
their contest. The winning school should submit playoff game results and next
round information via MaxPreps through the assigned coach/admin account. The
score reported by a coach on a team’s page will automatically fill in the bracket.
The completeness of the data presented on the UIL Texas Scoreboard will be
dependent upon the participation of schools and coaches. For more information,
please see http://www.uiltexas.org/athletics/uil-maxpreps
Failure to submit this information could result in a range of penalties as described in
Section 27(b) of the UIL Constitution and Contest Rules.
Warm-up Games: If schools have games left in the 15-game limitation, warm-up games may
be played after the district certification deadline. These games may not be played in excess of the
15 game limit for the season or in excess of the two-games-per-week rule. Bi-district and area
games do count in the two-contests-per-week rule.
Suspended Games: In post season contests, a suspended game will be continued from point of
suspension and played to completion.
Police Protection: Adequate police protection should be provided whether the game is played
on neutral site or on the home court of one of the teams.
Officials: In all conferences (at all playoff levels), except regional tournaments and state
tournaments, officials are to be obtained by the two schools involved.
Contracts: All playoff arrangements between two schools should be made in writing and signed
to protect both parties.
Team Information Form: Please go to our website (http://www.uiltexas.org/soccer/forms) and
fill out your team information form online. This form must be submitted on the website no later
than Wednesday, April 8.
Team Picture: The team winning the regional quarter-final game in all conferences must send
by email ([email protected]) a team picture, picture of the head coach and a picture of the
school’s mascot. In the subject line of your email include your school name. The pictures must
have a resolution of at least 300 dpi (dots or pixels per inch), and be in tiff or jpeg format.
Failure to submit this information will result in your school not having their pictures in the State
Soccer Tournament program. These materials must be received in our office no later than
Wednesday, April 8. This is an important step in providing a memorable state tournament
program. Your assistance in this effort is appreciated. Again, listed below are the items we need:
