Your building and the spaces within and around it can be
inspiring and create wellbeing, they can be extraordinary. This
does not happen by accident.
This happens by your knowing what you love and how that feels,
this alone, however, does not guarantee you an inspiring place
that creates wellbeing. That happens by design.
Drawing a floor plan is not design.
Composing an elevation is not design.
Design is messy with color and texture and feelings and dreams
that must be articulated and then studiously examined until
from a completely unexpected angle or scale or shadow, an
atmosphere is seen and you recognize the feeling, then you
know you are on your way to something extraordinary.
