Project “Stand Up” serves as a prevention
measure offering outreach and service to
male teens exposed to domestic violence as
well as those who are not exposed to help
make nonviolent, positive life choices and
changes that enable them to maximize their
potential and live violence free. Project
“stand up” will also seek to provide a real
example of the principles of manhood.

Mission
To equip young men with the
principles of manhood leading
them to live violence free and be
productive members of society.
Vision
Young men will “Stand Up” joining
forces to stop all acts of violence
and become the men they are
intended to be through the
awareness of violence, life skills,
and independent living skills.

Nearly 1.5 million high school
students nationwide experience
physical abuse from a dating
partner in a single year.

One in ten high school students
has been purposefully hit, slapped
or physically hurt by a boyfriend or
girlfriend.
 According to the Youth Risk
Behavior Survey released by the
SC Department of Education in
2014, 10.4% of students
surveyed in SC had been
physically forced to have sexual
intercourse.

Service Delivery
Our services will include mentoring
to those within the community or
schools, presentations, and male
groups. All of which is catered to fit
your need of services. Our six areas
of focus are “FIGHTING THE
STRUGGLE”, “BE A MAN ABOUT
IT”, “ME & MY CREW”, “YOU GOT
THE POWER”, “THROW YOUR
WEIGHT UP”, and “BECOMING A
BOSS”.
