The fingerprint machine is
in accessible state, Press key
to open the Main Menu.
1) User Management
For a fingerprint machine, user's
basic information includes
fingerprint, password and
management privilege. Fingerprint
machine provide function to add,
delete, change the user.
a) Add new user:

Firstly register the
personnel’s fingerprint or the
password on the machine Whose
time & attendance record will be
tracked.
Follow the equipment prompt place
the finger, you must continuously
press the same finger 3 times in the
correct method until the registration
success prompt appear.

Following the equipment prompt,
input the password, then press OK
key and input password once again,
only can input max. 8 digit the
effective figure for the password.
b) Manage:
Here you can view all users'
information in the current
equipment is available, which
include username, the number of
fingerprint, whether the password
is registered, and user’s attendance
logs. You are allowed to edit or
delete some users.
c) SMS:
Examine the public short message
when the equipment is at the
readiness status, the main interface
show the picture and the current
effective content of the public short
message.

Here we can delete/edit/search for
the registered users

Track Time & Attendance record is basis
to compute the salary, the staff has
possibly assign to the different working
category, also has the possibility to assign
different type of work in one factory in the
different time.
e) Access Control setting:
Access Control settings are designed for
user’s Time Period and control unlocks.
if Registered users are unable to unlock,
reason is current unlock time should be
within any effective Time Scope of the
User.
2) Communication setting

when transfer the data between the
equipment and PC, it is necessary to set
the equipment communication parameter.
When the equipment and the machine are
in the communication, Message will
display on the Software “Device
connected successfully”.
Configure networks:
Machine IP address: Default IP is
192.168.1.201, you may change, modify it;
Do not set IP as same as the IP of PC. We
can not assign IP address in device through
DHCP.
f) Wiegand:
Pulse interval: which is default 900

200 and 20000.
Output: Wiegand output signals
contained in the content choose to include
workers, or card number.
3) System Setting
To set up system parameter, make the
equipment at the function, display with the
perfect exhibition, pursue user's
satisfactions.
b) Data:

Delete attendance record: Deletes all
attendance record. Delete all registrations
personnel information, the fingerprint and
the attendance record.
d) Keyboard:
When press any condition
key on initial interface left, the attendance
condition which correspond the condition
key will appear under the screen left,
provide user with the convenient to
examine.
e) Display:

After the user verifying operation, the
clock style of your choice will display on
the verification screen here, regardless of
the success or failure.
f) Reset:
Restore the communications setting,
system settings, to the factory settings.

For configure GPRS we will need a GPRS activated
SIM card.
X990 device must be enable with GPRS option.
You should know the APN no. and Dial no. of your
service provider. Ex. – For Vodafone . APN – www, Dial no -

WIFI is a wireless network , where we can get
authorized access within the range of our WIFI
equipments.
 X990 device must be enabled with WIFI option .
Device must be in WIFI range.
One WIFI Router is required to install the X990
WIFI device.
