1.

Introduction
Present members of Executive Committee are: Nikola, Cvetan, Claudia, Srdjan, Valentin
and Alex. Maja and Steva could not make it.
After managing to organise all of our preparatory work and relax a bit from long trips we
started the work in the afternoon of 13th of May.
1.1 Agenda, creating time frame




Alex introduced proposal for the agenda and it was then accepted
We decided as well about the chairperson of the meeting (Srdjan) and minutes maker
(Alex)
We decided to work until 21.30h local time and maybe a bit more if we need to.
If there is a need for more work tomorrow we will plan it later on today.
1.2 Personal Updates



Everyone introduced their work in previous period, for CDN and their own organisation.
Everyone seems to be very engaged with their home organisation and we generally did not
put too much effort in CDN except general reporting on previous activities and applying for
new activities and keeping
After this intro we have had an brainstorming session on the expectation and themes from
the agenda we would like to find out more and focus
1.3 Information on work done in previous period




Alex introduced the work we have had in previous period (October 2003-May 2004)
Issue of better communication and need for exchange of information and our work reports
Secretary general should help with kicking out debate and keeping the people together
Organisation
2.1 Member organisations



Srdjan introduced the problem of Member Organisations not responding to requests for
information about the organisation and official contacts
Srdjan will try to prepare this whole profile/info/activities document

Srdjan and Alex had a working visit meeting to Montenegro
Molodi Zeleni Ukraini: contact is: Valentin Shpakov
Zofi: contact is: Maja Bumberak
Moloda Zelena Alternativa: Kyryl Tomlyak
Keep contact (if possible) until next network meeting and then propose to kick them out
Zelena Omladina Srbije: contact is: Stevan Petrovic
Gibanje Slovenske Mladine: contact is: Igor Jakovac
Brandenburg Young Greens: contact is: Benjamin Grohowski





Srdjan and Maja have had contacts with Cyprus, Bulgaria and Romania
We should keep contact and invite them for Network Meeting
Claudia will keep contact with Moldova in order to help them establish young greens
The countries in interest are: Croatia, Bosnia and Albania
The contacts there are really week and we need to think in future a bit more with these
countries
Nikola will try to find good contact in Bosnia
Alex and Cvetan will go to Albania this year and try to set up really good contact
Maja should work in establishing good environmental org link in Bosnia and Croatia



2.2 Executive Committee







We have now 8 members and Claudia is newcomer
Her task will be to organise exchanges of CDN in future (to learn about this fund and create
contacts, as well learn about rules of the grant)
Alex will help her with getting information and kicking off
Stevan will have to think about his tasks in future and weather he can keep being project
coordinator
Nikola will be responsible for the summer camp, our main event this year, and after the
summer camp we will think about his future work responsibility
Valentin will continue developing contacts in his region and especially within frame of next
years project in Ukraine
Srdjan should write down in one document all contacts of the EC and send it to our list
2.3 Headquarters



Cvetan and Nikola are working on the internal manual for functioning of the office, work of the
EC and the other relations and responsibilities of the network
They will send a draft proposal to the list as soon as it is ready

Fundraising


Have regular phone conference: Once a month: Every second Tuesday afternoon, around
5pm.
Srdjan should inform Maarten to help us with it
ACTION PLAN accepted
Time frame:
Over the year:
 Development of communication and coordination tools
 Preparations of workshops for member organizations
 Visits to different organisations in Eastern Europe
 Creation of information material of CDN
 Development of project ideas for 2005 projects
Plan is to visit Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania, Macedonia, Montenegro and Albania and
hold workshop for organisational development there on previously communicated
topics. Precise dates and venues of these workshops as well as the meetings of the
executive committee will be decided at later stage.

Dates decided
DEM applied for co-funding of the summer camp to many funders and they except positive answers

Call for prep team will be sent next week by Srdjan
Call for the participants will go out by end of the month
