These rules will apply to all Peace River Bass Series events including the championship. Classic Tournaments, Inc. reserves the right to refuse entry for any reason. Tournament officials decisions are final in all matters. 2. All teams must have at least one member 18 years of age. Anglers less than 18 years of age must have parent/legal guardian permission form. 3. A team can have as many partners as needed. All points stay with the team captain for the series. 4. Each team will receive points in order of their finish in each event. 50 points for first place, 49 for second, and continuing in descending order to the team with the lightest weight. All other teams will receive 10 participation points. 5. The Top 20 teams based on points will be invited to fish in The Peace River Bass Series championship 6. Entry Fees are $120 per team per event. Entry Fee for the championship shall be $120 per team. Entry fees may be mailed to “Classic Tournaments Inc, PO Box # 511090, Punta Gorda, Fl 33951” or paid in person at Capt. Ted’s Tackle in Port Charlotte or Laishley Marine in Punta Gorda. Online payments accepted at www.flatsmasters.com 1. Payments made the morning of the tournament shall incur a $20 late fee. Cash Only accepted at the ramp. Teams shall leave in the order that their entry fees are received. 2. All teams must use care in handling and keeping bass for release after weigh in. All fish will be brought to the scales in a plastic bag with enough water to cover the fish. A tournament limit shall be 5 bass (14” minimum length with the tail pinched, measured on the official tournament ruler with the mouth closed and the tail pinched. No culling of dead fish. The dead fish penalty shall be .50lb. per fish. No team shall have more than five bass in their livewell at any time. 3. All anglers will wear life vests any time the outboard is running. Kill switch must be attached when the outboard is running. 4. All fishing must be done from the boat. No wading or trolling allowed. No trailering of boats during tournament hours. Only artificial lures may be used except for pork products. Only one rod and reel may be used at any given time by each angler. 5. Anglers may not leave their boats except in an emergency. You must fish water accessible to all anglers. No fishing within 50 yards of any boat anchored with trolling motor in the up position. No fishing within 100 yards of launch site. There are no off limit days in The Peace River Bass Series. 6. Tournament hours are safelight to 3:00pm. Each team will be assigned a boat number and chip prior to start. Teams must turn in chip to tournament official prior to 3:00pm or will be considered late and disqualified. Scales Open at 2:00pm 7. Emergency or breakdown– Each team must identify their fish with some type of marker or separation before entering the rescue boat with fish, to return to weigh in. Once a rescue has commenced all fishing is done for the day for both teams. 8. Each boat must have all US Coast Guard safety equipment on board. All boats must have adequate livewell space to keep alive a limit of bass. No airboats allowed. 9. Sportsmanship- Each team shall be expected to follow the highest level of sportsmanship, safety, courtesy, and conservation. No consumption of alcoholic beverages during fishing hours is allowed. 10. There are several manatee speed restricted areas on the Peace River. Please adhere to all speed zones. Please be courteous to other boaters and anglers on the river. Not following speed zones or operating your boat in a dangerous or reckless manner will be grounds for disqualification. 11. If being lifted over the dam into the Shell Creek Reservoir you must call and make an appointment with the lift operator
