College (Sophomore/Junior) form online - 8th
grade through Senior
l  This information is compiled and emailed to
all NCAA Gymnastic Programs
l  Due to the expense of food in outside facility
and the fact that coaches receive per diem
from their gym, no meals will be provided to
coaches at Regional Competitions. Meet
directors may provide, but are not required to
provide, vouchers for meals or a green room

with snacks.

Region 8 Information
Due to restructuring of JO Nationals, the first
alternates will no longer be on site at the
competition.
l  We would like coaches of alternates to be
aware that there are often numerous
scratches of athletes up to and including the
day of competition.
l  We encourage coaches and their athletes to
continue training and be prepared to travel at
the last minute if at all possible.

Region 8 provides all coaches from clubs
in good standing who qualify athletes to
Level 9 Easterns and JO Nationals with
apparel to wear at these National
competitions.
In order to qualify for the All Star Trip a
gymnast’s coach/gym needs to be in good
standing with the Region.

Coaches of Clubs not in Good Standing
must purchase their apparel for Level 9
Easterns and JO Nationals.
Failure to wear this apparel will result
in a fine to the State account. The
State Chairman will then collect fines
from the non-compliant coach.

“In Good Standing” is defined as:
• Host a Training Camp within the last 2 years
• Send volunteer coaches to a Camp to actively
work with gymnasts within the last 2 years
• Send athletes to a Training Camp within the
last 2 years
• Make a $1000 donation to the Regional
Apparel Fund
