Space requirements for PACMAN
To improve team efficiency and make the project a real success:
• ESRs offices located at the same place (and not near their supervisors, except
during the 6 first months), e.g. 5 offices for 2 persons. Even «Algecos» could be
ok.
• At least 3 laboratory rooms (~4m x 4m) nearby, hosting the following test
benches:
• Magnetic measurements
• RF measurements
• Assembly / final mock-up
• Micrometric alignment test setup
• Nano-positioning
• Seismic sensors
• Requirements for the labs:
• Thermally stable ~ 20±2 °C
• Low level vibration and ground motion (potential sites can be easily
checked by the CLIC Stabilization Team)
• Duration (2014-2017)
