Awards to follow completion of ROUND 4 (this may occur prior to 1600).
Rules:
1) Tournament play begins PROMPTLY at 1800 on Friday.
2) Players will be initially paired after official welcome using AREA ratings where possible;
3) Rounds are timed, and although TD believes there is ample time to complete the round,
the following method will be used to end a game incomplete at end of round:
a. 1 hour warning will be given by TD;
b. 30 minute warning by TD;
c. Adjudicated between players;
d. Adjudicated by TD.
4) Balance provisions are already established through ABS and scenario card. Sides will be
decided by players (See ABS Rules).
5) All OBA scenarios will use the Pleva OBA Rule: Every time you draw a red card (including
the first red card), put it back along with another red card. The battery is never lost due
to drawing two red cards. Extra card draw mechanics remain the same.
6) Final Round match-ups will be paired using the following process:
a. Record, and/or;
b. Points (calculated by TD via Excel program from Terry Gray)
7) Prizes will be awarded for the following categories’:
a. 1st through 4th Place
b. AFV Kills
c. CC Kills
d. Snake-eyes
e. Boxcars
8) Champion will be awarded the PERPETUAL CHAMPIONS PLAQUE!
The champion will receive a personalized engraved plate to attach to the plaque after
the tournament. The expectation is that the plaque returns for the next year’s
tournament.
