Taxes and public economics
Norway has high taxes and it is therefore crucial to tax appropriately. Vista Analysis has very high competence in
the question of what constitutes 'optimal' taxation and the use of various fees. We analyse environmental taxes,
income taxes, property taxes, environmental taxes, tolls, fee systems, etc. One of our employees participated in
the Green Tax Commission (2015), and we delivered several reports to this Commission. Another employee was
central in the development of the knowledge base behind the so-called “tax financing cost” in Norwegian
economic analysis. Vista Analysis evaluates many issues at the public expense side, both transfers and purchases
of goods and services. Examples include pensions, transfers to municipalities and economic evaluations of the
benefits versus costs of public investments.
