SPEAKING:
Can you recognize this text? Who wrote it? What is the story about?
O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?

WRITING:
Write 60-80 words and try to think about a different ending of Romeo and Juliet. You can
work in pairs.
Try to identify the most popular English sports.
It is played on greens. Each team has 11 players. They play with a ball and a bat shaped like a
paddle. Players (batters) are wearing white clothes. In the ground are pushed wickets
(wooden rods) with 2 small pieces on the top (bails).
It is the most popular sport in England. Team consists of 11 players. They use ball which
they can either kick or head. The team scores when a player kicks the ball into the opponents
net.
The home of this sport is considered to be Scotland. The player tries to hit the small white ball
with woods, irons, hybrids or putter into the hole in ground. Players need to wear special
shoes with metal or plastic spikes and they usually wear white dresses.
It is a ball game, players are riding horses. There are 4 players in a team and they try to hit the
ball with a stick (mallet) into the opposing goal. Nickname is: The sport of Kings.
