THE PROCESS
DRAFT PROGRAM:
1. CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
Registering for this business delegation does not ensure your participation. To make sure that the meetings are relevant for both you and the cooperatives,
there will be a screening process after your registration. You need to fill in a company profile using the
attached template. When you register, please send
your company profile and up to three high resolution
product pictures to Market Advisor Kathrine LysterClausen, [email protected]
2. BACKGROUND
EKF and the Consulate General have identified and
established a dialogue with 8 large Brazilian cooperatives within dairy, grains, chicken, fish, and pork
production, as well as corn and soya. All 8 cooperatives have shown a great interest in the Danish innovative solutions. Together with international banks
in Brazil EKF is working on offering credit lines to
the targeted cooperatives. Next step is to introduce
the cooperatives to the Danish companies.
3. EXPORT CATALOGUE
To gain the opportunity to meet the most relevant cooperatives for your company, you need to fill in a profile. The catalogue forms the basis for the cooperatives’ selection process. See further comments under
conditions for participation. It is free to have a profile
in the catalogue.
4. FINANCING SEMINAR
On 26th of April there will be a pre-meeting and financing seminar hosted by Confederation of Danish
Industry. At this meeting you will learn more about
the business potential at the cooperatives, the offered
financing solution, the program details, next step
and key notes to give you a solid background needed
for your preparation.
5. JOIN THE DELEGATION VISIT
The cooperatives select the companies they wish to
talk to about their investment plans. Therefore the
text in the Export Catalogue is very important. The
delegation will be divided into smaller groups of 5-6
companies. The cooperatives are interested in
smaller groups to allow them to be detailed and to
give you time to make a proper presentation.
Every visit will include visits with 4-5 cooperatives.

protein and grains are expanding, optimizing and enhancing their production facilities, focusing on among
other things more automatization, food safety and more value-adding processed products.
Brazilian consumers are also seeking better and safer products and with the economic outlook looking better in
2018 the wheels of the 208 million people large Brazilian con-sumer-market is also slowly setting in mo-tion.
