What’s the role about? We are looking for a vibrant, proactive and motivated Team Leader to join our accommodation services in the Wadalba Area and Supported Living service ILDIS. This role will be job sharing with another Team Leader and as a Front Line Manager you will be responsible for leading and supporting your team within the program, maintaining effective communication with clients, families and stakeholders. We encourage you to be creative, flexible and innovative in exploring different ways to help people to grow into their full potential, creating opportunities for the people we support while guiding your team to perform their best within the values of the organisation. Our ideal candidate has A passion and solid experience working with and supporting a range of people with a disability and an understanding of their complex needs Relevant tertiary qualifications and ideally 2-3 years work experience in relevant industry. Experience in managing time, planning and organising work schedules/rosters and demonstrating initiative when working without direct supervision. Excellent communication, organisation, presentation and leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop these skills in others. High levels of enthusiasm, initiative and a positive attitude. Is reliable, team focused and committed to achieving excellence in the community service sector Can facilitate and implement Person Centred Approaches to support client’s plans and Behaviour Support plans & Health Care plans.
