Mirashare’s Backbone
Taking the right action at the right time is key
to making sustainable improvements to EHS
performance. As an EHS professional you need
to know that actions exist, why they exist, when
they have been completed, whether they have
been completed correctly and whether they have
been completed on time. You also need to be
able to react if actions are outstanding.
That’s why Action Tracking is central to the
Mirashare system.
Integrating with all our EHS applications,
Action Tracking captures corrective and
preventative actions, records the progress of
the action and ensures that deadlines for action
puts you in control, with its powerful reporting
capability it allows you to easily demonstrate you
are in control.
Action Capture
Actions are captured from all other Mirashare
modules – Incidents, Risk Assessments, Audit and
Inspection – and stored in one place. Actions can
even be created from within the action tracking
module itself. All the relevant information
connected with the action is recorded including
creator, owner, date, reason for action and
required by date.

Actions are automatically assigned to
owners and added to their workflow.
Actions can also be related to one
another to form a hierarchy, mapping
an overall solution. Actions can be
viewed in a number of ways depending
on requirements. For example team
leaders can see all actions for their area,
their own actions, and their reportees’
actions as required. Overdue actions are
automatically escalated according to
flexible rules.
Completion of actions and approval of
the completed action are recorded by
electronic signature allowing for easy
verification. Completed actions can
be reviewed to ensure they have been
correctly implemented.
Action Reporting
In addition to reports on action status
Mirashare’s comprehensive reporting
suite allows sophisticated searching,
charting and report generation at any
level of detail. All reports can be
exported into common file formats for
inclusion in reports and presentations.
