Booking & Confirmation
~
To secure the reservation, a booking & confirmation form must be completed, signed by the credit card holder &
returned to us within 7 days. Reservations will not be confirmed until your booking & confirmation form has been
signed & returned. Confirmed total number of guests must be made 48 hrs before your reservation. For exclusive
events a deposit of 20% of the total cost of the event or the min spend is to be paid to secure the date for the
event. The total account is to be paid in full prior or at the conclusion of the event by credit card.
Cancellation
~
Cancellation must be made in writing via email 14 days prior to event. Should you cancel within the 14 days of the
time of your reservation, we will retain the 20% deposit of the cost of the event. For exclusive events, deposit is
refundable only if an event cancels more than 14 days prior to event date. Cancellations made less than 72 hrs
prior to the event date the estimated event cost or minimum spend is payable in full.
Non-arrival of group
~
In case of non-arrival for your event, we will charge the estimated event cost or minimum spend in full.
Payment
~
We accept all major credit cards & cash. We regret that we cannot accept cheques. Only one account will be issued
for your reservation. Split accounts will not be provided. All rates include GST (+1.5% card surcharge). We ask that
all accounts be settled at the conclusion of the event by credit card; we are unable to issue an invoice for the
remaining amount due.
Hiring of Equipment / Extra Requirements
~
We can offer an internal/in-house microphone & PA system for your specific use. We can also suggest an external
audio-visual set-up/supplier if requested. Also on request we can offer flower arrangements for your event. In the
case of security we also offer a security service for special events, asset & personal protection on request.
Guest Responsibilities
~
Guests are expected to conduct their function in a legal & respectable manner & are responsible for the conduct of
its invitees. The guest will be charged for any damages that occur to the restaurant, the property or its staff. Please
note: Australian Legislation relating to Responsible Service of Alcohol, Esquire staff & Management reserve the
right to terminate a function, refuse service to any guest deemed intoxicated, or take responsible action to assist
any intoxicated guest from the premises.
Restaurant Rights
~
We reserve the right to remove from the premises any person behaving in an irresponsible manner. We assume no
responsibility for the loss or damage to any property belonging to the client or their guests. The client is
responsible for delivery & collection of any external props/equipment. No food or beverage is permitted into the
premises under any circumstances.
