Team Implementation Checklist
To find your Total Score on the TIC in PBIS Assessment, login to the PBIS Assessment website
(www.pbisassessment.org) and click on Reports. Click on the arrow in the Team Checklist
Version 3.1 row in the Total Score column.
This will bring you to a screen that looks similar to this:
The table at the bottom shows that for the TIC completed on 9/15/11, 77.27% of the items
were marked as Achieved (FImp) and 18.18% of the items were marked as In Progress (PImp).
The total score on this TIC would be 77.27% + (18.18%/2) = 77.27% + 9.09% = 86.36%. Since this
score is greater than 80%, this school is implementing the Universal/Tier 1 level of PBIS with
fidelity.
The same can be done with the TIC that was completed on 1/17/12. On that TIC, 90.91% of the
items were marked as Achieved (FImp) and 9.09% of the items were marked as In Progress
(PImp). The total score on this TIC would be 90.91% + (9.09%/2) = 95.46%.
If you change the Report Type using the arrow in the drop down box that says Total Score to
Subscale, you’ll find that each subscale also reports the percent of items on that subscale that
are at Full implementation (marked Achieved) and at Partial implementation (marked as In
Progress). You can calculate subscale scores for each of these subscales in the same way that
you did for the total score above.
