The Flower Sale Fun Has Begun! ** WIN GREAT PRIZES! HELP YOUR SCHOOL! ** This letter officially kicks off the 2017 Carmel Elementary Flower Sale! After more than 40 years of this fundraising tradition, we are looking forward to another successful year of raising money to create new opportunities for our school. Proceeds from the sale will directly impact programs and materials sponsored by the PTO, like classroom grants and technology, teacher education, after-school tutoring, playground equipment, student parties and countless other needs and wishes. Your student received a button today. It is to wear when out selling flowers. The button is his/hers to keep. From Friday, March 10th through Monday, March 27th, we will be collecting flower sale preorders and awarding daily prizes. Each and every order counts, no matter its size! Daily student winners – top sellers, as well as those drawn randomly for turning in a single order of any amount – will be announced each afternoon, starting Monday, March 13th. At the end of the presale period, the overall top six sellers and top three selling classrooms will be awarded special prizes. ALL participants will receive a reward & get to sign the Wall of Recognition upon turning in their first order! Attached to this letter, you will find a student prize calendar outlining the prizes students will receive upon becoming a daily top seller, as well as examples of some of the random drawing prizes offered this year. Participants turning in an order of any amount will be entered into a daily drawing to win one of many great prizes! Also attached are a few copies of the order form.* Your student can start collecting orders right away! Each order form must be filled out completely and money must be collected at the time of the order. Please double-check to ensure funds collected match order tallies, and have your student deliver forms and funds to his/her teacher. Please note that the SOLD BY information on the order form will allow us to credit your student with his/her sales. This is necessary for prize recognition! All flowers must be picked up in the Carmel Elementary gymnasium on: ** Friday, May 5 from 8:30am to 6:30pm ** Orders not claimed by 6:30pm will be resold. Sorry, no refunds will be given.
