Tournament Director's Payout Matrix Guide
Winning Distributions ($5.00 Entry Fee)
Guide is designed to pay approximately one-third of the field
A - Determine the amount of prize money available for "Closest" and "Longest"
"Closest to the Pin" and "Longest Putt" payouts will be worth $10 each:
a. 24 players or less
- no closest and no long putt
b. 24 - 35 players
- one closest and one long putt ($20)
c. 36 - 47 players
- one closest and two long putts ($30)
d. 48 or more players - two closest and two long putts ($40)
B - Determine the number of Flights
Number of flights:
0 - 23 players
= 1 Flight
24 - 47 players
= 2 Flights
48 or more players = 3 Flights
C - After "Closest and Longest" payouts, determine the amount of money available per flight.
D - Balance the number of players in each flight, by index, as close as possible.
(See "Flight Balancing" below.)
E - Award the corresponding winnings (using table below) to each place. Adjustments may be
necessary. If so, add/subtract $1.00 to higher/lesser winners.

Two Flights
When there are an odd number of players in the pot, A Flight will bare the extra player
on odd days of the month and B Flight will bare the extra player on even days.
Three Flights
If three flights do not balance equally, the following schedule will prevail for:
