To His Honour The Lieutenant-Governor in The undersigned has the honour to Council: report : THAT by reference to the International Joint Commission the Governments of Canada and the United States determined to investigate the resources of the Columbia River watershed, and THAT The International Joint Commission has appointed a Board, entitled the International Columbia River Engineering Board, and a Committee entitled the International Columbia River Engineering Committee, to organize and conduct the investigation, and THAT it is desirable that British Columbia, having ownership of all Natural Resources, be represented at the meetings of the said Board and Committee: AND TO RECOMMEND: THAT the International Joint Commission or other appropriate body be advised of the wish of the Province to be so represented, and FURTHER TC RECOMMEND: THAT Mr. George P. Melrose, Deputy Minister of Lends, be designated to represent the Province at such Board and Committee meetings with power to call on all Departments of the Government for advice and assistance.
