– and feel the world around you
Join us when we fill the cycle paths with over 100,000 employees from Danish workplaces. Simply find at least three willing colleagues who are up for the ride, and you’ve got yourself a team
for the biggest and most fun cycling event this spring.
When you enter Bike to Work, your team collects points by cycling to work
on as many days as possible in the month of May, competing against
other teams from all over Denmark.
Your team could win trips to exotic world destinations and
many other great prizes – but the greatest benefit will be had
by all: On your bicycle, you can literally feel life all around
you on your way to work. Your body awakens and the day
begins, the birds are singing, you can smell the bread
as you pass the baker’s and the sun warms the back of
your neck.
Remember!
Take your bike
to the train
if you have a long
way to work
Sure, cycling is healthy and green, but you should do
it for your own pleasure!
Bike to Work
will run from 3-31 May 2010.
What is Bike to Work?
Bike to Work is all about using your bike as a means of transport to get you to and from work. You team
up with your colleagues and bike to work on as many days as possible. Your team wins points regardless
of distance and speed – just as long as you cycle.
The team should consist of 4-16 people. Each time one of you cycles to and/or from
work, the team wins a point. If there are five of you, all cycling on the same
day, you get five points. It even counts if you cycle to the bus or the train,
or if, for example, you cycle to work and take the train home.
The more of you there are on the team, and the more days you
cycle, the more points you can scrape together. The number
of points decides how many chances you have of winning
a prize in the draw for holidays, bikes and loads of really
great cycling equipment for the whole team.
Bike to Work will run from 3-31 May 2010.

Every team must choose a team captain who deals
with the registration and payment. A team captain
can sign up more than one team, but may only cycle
for one of them.
You can sign up as many teams from the same workplace as you wish. Just as long as there are 4-16 people to a team. And you can be part of the same team
even if you work for a company with departments in
different parts of the country.
