Applications are called for the following positions for each age
group for the next Representative Season:



Head Coach
Assistant Coach
Manager
Essential Criteria




Current Level 1 NCAS Basketball accreditation
(or be willing to obtain)
Current registered member of Basketball NSW
Upholding the MWBA philosophy
Working in conjunction with the Coaching Director
Conditions of Appointment to the Manly
Warringah Association Representative Staff
All coaches must agree to the following obligations if appointed.
 Coaches will only conduct training sessions at the times organised
with and through the office
 Coaches will attend and involve themselves in appropriate
BNSW development programmes specific to their age group
 Coaches will adhere to the NCAS and Active Australia Coaches’
Code of Conduct
 Coaches will consult the MWBA Coaching Director on any issue(s)/
Criticism(s) that may arise in their coaching role
 Coaches will encourage all players to attend development sessions,
skills sessions and holiday camps.
 Coaches will attend all MWBA pre-season development sessions

Please Note Coaching positions will be determined by the DOC and
the Coaching Committee, and will be ratified by the MWBA Board.
Attendance at the Representative Trials is required, along with MWBA
pre-season development sessions.
