Refreshing watermelon is good for you
Watermelon has just a little over 40 calories per cup, and it has more
lycopene than any other fruit or vegetable. Lycopene is one of the
most powerful antioxidants, which help fight free radicals and prevent
disease. It’s also high in vitamin C, a good source of fiber and 92
percent water. Watermelon pizza is a kid friendly dish. Just slice
watermelon like you’d slice pizza. Top each slice with yogurt and
fruit, such as blueberries, strawberries – whatever you like.

Feds Feed Families - Food Drive
Campaign
The Feds Feed Families campaign
is a voluntary effort undertaken by
federal employees. Each year
employees and customers have the
opportunity to contribute by
purchasing brown paper bags filled
with some of the most needed nonperishable items to be donated. In
2016 our efforts resulted in more
than 1,101,852 pounds of food
items being collected by DeCA and
3.28 million pounds being collected
by all Department of Defense

participating agencies. This year’s
campaign will run through August
31st. We encourage and appreciate
your continued support throughout
the years.
Red, White & Blue Reunion
Now-July 15, Unilever is
sponsoring their 8th annual “Red
White & Blue Reunion” promotion.
Patrons can enter to win a family
vacation to one of America’s
national parks by submitting a short
essay on “Why My Family Should
Win a Trip to a National park.”
There will be five grand prize
trips—an all-inclusive family
vacation! Additionally, ten winners
will be awarded commissary gift
cards. Winners will be announced
on Unilever’s Operation In-Touch
