NOTIFICATION OF CHANGE TO POINT SCORE 2013
Due to the cancellation of Sail Sydney and the introduction of Sail Middle Harbour the
following changes have been made to the calculation of the YSGP Point Score 2013.
For Laser 4.7, Laser Radial
Two mandatory regattas – respective National Class Championships and the Australian
Youth Championships PLUS three regatta performances from either Sail Melbourne or
the State-based regattas will be included in the Youth Sailing Grand Prix point score.
Note: There is no longer a requirement to have to include a result from the Sail Down
Under Series.
For 420’s and 29ers
Two mandatory regattas – respective National Class Championships and the Australian
Youth Championships PLUS three regatta performances from either Sail Middle
Harbour, Sail Melbourne or the State-based regattas will be included in the Youth
Sailing Grand Prix point score.
Note: There is no longer a requirement to have to include a result from the Sail Down
Under Series.
For Bic Techno
The Australian Youth Championship is a mandatory regatta PLUS athletes must
compete in at least two of the following regattas:
Queensland Youth Week
NSW State Championships
Mandurah Easter Regatta
Note: Due to the cancellation of Sail Sydney it cannot be included.

Two mandatory regattas – respective National Class Championships and the Australian
Youth Championships PLUS athletes must compete in the following:
(i)
Victorian State Youth Championships (April 2013)
(ii)
Wildcat Regatta – Foster* (Oct 2013) OR Vic Catamaran States* (Nov 2013)
Note: Due to the cancellation of Sail Sydney it cannot be included.
NB: ATHLETES WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED ON THE POINT SCORE IF
THEY HAVE REGISTERED FOR THE YSGP 2013 THROUGH THE YACHTING
AUSTRALIA WEBSITE.
