Deliver practical football sessions in line with the FA Girls’ Advanced Coaching Centre technical
programme
January 2015 – April 2015
Responsible for;

The welfare of players within their designated age group

Providing high quality coaching and support

Implementing a training and games programme in line with LTPD guidelines

Develop session plans in line with the technical programme

To support the development of the Assistant Coach
Key skills and experience required: Essential

Minimum Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football

FA Youth Award – Module 1 and 2

FA Licensed Coach

A recognised First Aid Qualification valid within the last 3 years

Knowledge and understanding of child protection issues including holding a current FA Safeguarding Children
Workshop certificate

An accepted Enhanced FA CRC Disclosure

Experience in coaching girls’ football

An understanding of current FA Girls Pathway and local grassroots girls football

Have knowledge and understanding of child development and be sensitive to children’s needs

Willingness to work weekends and attend training events when required

Own transport essential
Key skills and experience required: Desirable

An understanding of Talent Identification

An appreciation of Long Term Player Development

An SAQ qualification

Knowledge and understanding of working with young players

Ability to work in a team environment

Understanding of the FA Girls’ England Talent Pathway

Successful candidates will be required to commit to the remainder of the 29 week coaching programme and a minimum
of 5 fixtures during the ACC Programme which will take place during school holidays. Full details will be confirmed at
