Person Specification Under 12 ACC Assistant Coach Title Salary Location Session Responsible to Purpose of post Start Date: Wiltshire FA Girls Advanced Coaching Centre Assistant Coach £19.50 x1.5 hours (Practical Coaching Sessions) Wellington Academy Tidworth, Wiltshire Monday 6.00pm – 7.30pm Wiltshire FA FDO/ FA ACC Centre Manager Deliver practical football sessions in line with the FA Girls’ Advanced Coaching Centre technical programme January 2015 – April 2015 Responsible for; The welfare of players within their designated age group Providing high quality coaching and support Implementing a training and games programme in line with LTPD guidelines Develop session plans in line with the technical programme To support the development of the Assistant Coach Key skills and experience required: Essential Minimum Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football FA Youth Award – Module 1 and 2 FA Licensed Coach A recognised First Aid Qualification valid within the last 3 years Knowledge and understanding of child protection issues including holding a current FA Safeguarding Children Workshop certificate An accepted Enhanced FA CRC Disclosure Experience in coaching girls’ football An understanding of current FA Girls Pathway and local grassroots girls football Have knowledge and understanding of child development and be sensitive to children’s needs Willingness to work weekends and attend training events when required Own transport essential Key skills and experience required: Desirable An understanding of Talent Identification An appreciation of Long Term Player Development An SAQ qualification Knowledge and understanding of working with young players Ability to work in a team environment Understanding of the FA Girls’ England Talent Pathway If you are interested in this position please send your CV with a covering letter outlining why you want the role to: Tim Hall WCFA Football Development Officer [email protected] Successful candidates will be required to commit to the remainder of the 29 week coaching programme and a minimum of 5 fixtures during the ACC Programme which will take place during school holidays.
