SITE: Madsen’s Bowling & Billiards (4700 Dudley Street, Lincoln)
NOTE: There will be NO ADMISSION OR GATE CHARGE for spectators at this event. Madsen’s will serve breakfast the first day of
the team tournament.

NOTE: The maximum age limit for the Team Youth division is 18 years old. Age determined as of July 21, 2012. The tournament
director reserves the right to combine or adjust the age cutoff between the seniors, masters and youth divisions depending on
the number of entries and the age distribution.
RULES: VNEA 8-ball rules will be used.
REGISTRATION FEES & DEADLINES:
REGISTER BY JUNE 18 AND SAVE! If registered by Monday, June 18, the Pocket Billiards entry fee is $22 per adult for first event,
$16 per youth for first event and $11 per person for each additional event. Between June 19 and July 2, the fee is $27 per adult
for first event, $21 per youth for first event and $11 per person for each additional event.
FINAL ENTRY DEADLINE: Monday, July 2. Some sports accept entries after July 2 with an additional fee. If not specifically stated
in the sport information, please contact the NSC office at 402-471-2544 to see if your sport accepts late entries.
NOTE: Entry fee includes an athlete shirt, passes to SportFest and the Opening Ceremonies and a copy of the NSC Yearbook.
Yearbooks will not be shipped, but will be available at the Opening Ceremonies on July 20 and at the Nebraska Sports Council
office during normal packet pickup dates/times.
TEAM ONLINE REGISTRATION NOTE: The participant will be asked to enter their team members’ names. Entering their names
DOES NOT register them for the event. Each participant must go to CornhuskerStateGames.com and register themselves, or the
person registering can click “Another Participant” at the beginning of the registration process to register their team members.
COMPETITION FORMAT:
Singles: All singles players will begin in Classic I Division. Players eliminated in the first cut will form Classic II-Open. “Classic” is a
split into separate skill levels. Youth competition may be divided according to age if entries warrant. Director reserves the right
to split matches among multiple tables as time limit approaches.
Teams: Open Teams will play five-man round-robin, 25-game (20-game on loser’s side) win/loss format; win=one point, loss=0
points. Ladies teams will play four-person round-robin, 16-game format (12-game on loser’s side). A maximum of 32 women’s
teams and 56 open teams will be accepted. Youth teams will be round robin (18 games winners side, 9 games losers side).
CHOOSE PACKET SHIPPING: Packet shipping ($7 Individual, $14 Team/Doubles) allows you to receive your shirt(s), Opening
Ceremonies pass(es) and sponsor gifts more than a week before the Opening Ceremonies. Choosing this option means saving
time and avoiding hassles like waiting in line or running across town between games. Those not choosing the shipping option
may pick up athlete packets at the following locations/times:

OPENING CEREMONIES/SPORTFEST: The always popular Opening Ceremonies on Friday, July 20 will again be preceded by
SportFest, a party with all the trimmings including inflatable/carnival games, interactive displays, music and free dinner for
