Preparing for Role Play
• Opportunity to practice teaching components
of a spelling alternative lesson
• Regroup in your triads from the last activity.
• As a team, review the checklist for the spelling
alternative lesson type.
• Determine who will practice teaching specific
components:
• Person 1—warm-up
• Person 2—introducing the spelling
• Person 3—practice worksheet
