WOOL MARKET REPORT – 7 JUNE 2017
On the 35th wool auction of the 2016/2017 season, the Cape Wools merino wool market indicator decreased by
-2,2% to close on 15218c per kg clean.
BKB would like to take this opportunity in congratulating all wool producers and wool buyers on a successful
2016/2017 wool season.
Average clean wool price indicators for good quality long fleece wool (MF4/MF5) with a tenstile strength of
35 (NKT) were as follows:

The main buyers on the sale were: Standard Wool (3,579 bales), Lempriere South Africa (3,231 bales),
G Modiano (2,694 bales). Of the 13,028 bales offered 12,816 bales were declared sold (98%).
