ROLE DESCRIPTION OF COUNTY ASSISTANT COACH
U11 GIRLS
OFF SEASON
 Attendance at trials
 Regular liaison with relevant County Lead Coach
 Regular liaison with W&GCDO
SEASON
 Familiarise with rules and relate to players
 Assist at County squad training session as required by Lead County Coach
 Attendance at fixtures (5 days plus 4 days festival) as required by the Lead
County Coach
 Arrival before players to check conditions
 Assist in selecting the team in liaison with the Lead County Coach
 Assist in taking warm up and related cricket activities prior to each match as
required by the Lead County Coach
 Provide key instruction to team prior to each match
 Responsible for the demeanour and behaviour of the team on and off the field
before, during and after the match
 Assist in delivering after match instruction and key points
OTHER
 Regular updates to W&GCDO and Performance Manager
 Regular liaison with Lead County Coach
 Attendance at meetings as required
 LCB kit to be worn at all matches and training






Ability and interest to continue development
Coaching and cricket experience essential
Willingness to undertake unsociable hours
Wish to aid talented player development
Create a successful player talent pool with the potential to play county age
group cricket
TERM: Annual Review
Remuneration: Training/ trials £15p/hr.
Match day expenses: £25
