The well-respected Kishner put the sports practice on the
map by representing the New York Yankees since 1994 on
issues including the development of the new Yankee
Stadium, the team’s YES Network deal with Fox, and its
joint venture with Manchester City in creating Major League
Soccer’s New York City FC. Building on the New York
connection, the New York Racing Association also calls on
Kishner for counsel.
Bartie joined the practice in 2015, drawing upon his prior
work as general counsel for the Charlotte Bobcats, U.S.
Tennis Association and WWE. He has broadened areas of
the firm’s sports practice, including representing Under
Armour for the company’s NBA sponsorship. He is also
outside counsel to the Pac-12 Conference and D.C. United,
and last year worked on the naming-rights deal for the
Utah Jazz’s Vivint Smart Home Arena.
